Dear Reader,
My name is Ari and this website is a collection of letters to myself (or to the moon) about this chapter of my life. In the summer of 2025, I packed my bags and moved from Canada (albeit it temporarily) to Kumamoto Prefecture, Japan as an Assistant Language Teacher (ALT) through the JET Programme.
In Canada, I studied chemistry and always had a bit of a love for letter writing and stories which lead me to start a blog. Maybe these letters will help another ALT. Maybe they’ll help me remember. Either way – I hope you find it interesting.
